International Student Competition on Sports Arbitration Concludes

The International Student Competition on Sports Arbitration, organized by the Department of Theory of Law and Comparative Jurisprudence at the National Research University "Higher School of Economics" (HSE) in collaboration with the Faculty of Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) and the Russian International Olympic University (RIOU), with the partner support of the law firm "Palyulin & Partners", has come to a close.

Students tackled a mock case involving the disqualification of a Russian hockey player, representing him as the claimant and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) as the respondent.

A.Yu. Palyulin, managing partner of "Palyulin & Partners", served as an arbitrator of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS, Lausanne) during the competition.
