Anton Paliulin Awarded the Russian Ministry of Defense Medal "For Civil Courage"

A ceremonial event took place at the headquarters of the All-Russian Cossack Society, where active supporters of the *Zaporizhzhia Cossack Detachment named after Pavel Sudoplatov (BARS-32)* were awarded. The event was held under the patronage of the senior leadership of the All-Russian Cossack Society and with the participation of representatives from various organizations that provided significant assistance in strengthening the detachment's logistical base.

Who Attended the Ceremony?

The awards were presented by:

  • Mikhail Zorin, First Deputy (Comrade) Ataman of the All-Russian Cossack Society.

  • Alexey Yasinsky, Advisor to the Ataman of the All-Russian Cossack Society and Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Who Received the Awards?

  • Anton Paliulin – owner of the law firm Paliulin & Partners and a human rights activist, as well as Arseniy Golovachev – entrepreneur and secretary of the "Direct Democracy" party’s regional branch in Kaliningrad Oblast, were honored with a special award for procuring and delivering essential equipment for the repair of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Their efforts significantly enhanced the technical capabilities of the BARS-32 detachment.

  • Mikhail Melikov, a graduate student at Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU), received a medal for organizing a large-scale humanitarian mission for Cossacks in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. His work became an example of effective aid coordination under challenging conditions.

  • Eduard Schultz, Head of the Department of Communication Technologies at MSLU, representing the university, was awarded a letter of gratitude from the command and personnel of the *Pavel Sudoplatov Cossack Volunteer Detachment BARS-32*.

  • Representatives of the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunities" were awarded a medal for providing the detachment with high-quality internet connectivity and necessary equipment, which played a key role in improving the unit’s operational efficiency.

Special Recognition for the "Direct Democracy" Party

For their significant contribution to supporting the BARS-32 detachment, including financial aid and assistance in resolving logistical issues, the party’s legal service head Anton Paliulin and its secretary Arseniy Golovachev were awarded the "For Civil Courage" medals. This served as a vivid example of how modern political movements can effectively collaborate with military structures to achieve common goals.

Basis for the Awards

The awards were presented in accordance with an order by Lieutenant General Medvedev, Commander of the 58th Combined Arms Army. This army has a rich history of participation in key modern conflicts, including the Chechen wars, the 2008 Georgia conflict, the Battle of Mariupol, and the special military operation in Ukraine.
