In December 2025, the results of a large-scale study of the country's legal market — the Rossiyskaya Gazeta ranking — were announced. Its methodology, based on a detailed analysis of lawyers' actual achievements, makes this recognition one of the most objective and significant in the professional community. Anton Palyulin, owner of the law firm "Palyulin & Partners," confirmed his highest level of expertise by receiving two prestigious categories simultaneously. He earned the first (highest) category in the "Pro bono" nomination and the fourth category in the "Criminal Law" nomination. These accomplishments are not merely lines on a resume but a direct reflection of a principled professional and civic stance, where deep professionalism is inseparable from social responsibility.

For Anton Palyulin, this work is systematic. In 2023, he was already recognized with a letter of gratitude for providing free consultations to residents of new territories on the "hotline" of the news agency "ANNA NEWS". In 2025, the ranking's jury specifically highlighted his comprehensive legal and material support for the "BARS-32" Cossack detachment and the Volunteer Corps of the Russian Ministry of Defense. This work, recognized with the medal "For Civil Courage," was aimed at legalizing activities and supply chains, as well as supporting humanitarian missions, enabling these structures to effectively and lawfully fulfill their duty.
Fighting for Historical Justice: Fourth Category in the "Criminal Law" Nomination
Success in this most complex area of law demonstrates impeccable knowledge of the law, strategic thinking, and persistence in defending principles. The reward in this category was the high-profile case of prosecuting Lithuanian citizen Valdas Bartkevičius. At the initiative and with the direct participation of Anton Palyulin, criminal prosecution was initiated and brought to court for the rehabilitation of Nazism — specifically, public desecration of the memory of the victims of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. Thanks to the evidence gathered and professional cooperation with the investigation, the court sentenced the criminal in absentia to 23 years in prison. This process set an important legal precedent, showing that desecrating the memory of terrorism victims and publicly justifying it will not go unpunished, even if the perpetrator is outside Russia.
